AI and your data

What the AI features do, what they see, and what they never do.

What the AI does

Ask answers questions about a gallery's own records, in French or English, and links to the records it used.

Photo to record reads a photograph and the notes a user types, and drafts a record in both languages for the user to check.

What it can see

Only what the person asking is already allowed to see in Galerie Log. The AI reads the gallery's records through the same access rules as that person.

What it never does

It never changes a record by itself: a person always checks and saves.

It never starts on its own: nothing is sent to the AI provider unless a user asks a question or submits a photo.

The content sent is not used to train the provider's models, under Anthropic's commercial terms.

Accuracy

AI can make mistakes. Answers link to the underlying records so they can be checked, and drafts are always shown for review before saving.
