Mercury Release

Galerie Allen is pleased to present Mercury Release, a solo exhibition by Daniel Turner.

For the past decade, Turner has sourced material from institutional, industrial, and regulatory sites with historical, social, or manufacturing significance. For his third exhibition with Galerie Allen, the artist confronts the exhibition space itself as the medium. Fluorescent bulbs are dropped from ceiling ballasts, transforming mercury and light into a constellation of fractured debris.
