Biography

Combining heterogeneous elements inspired from cultural and formal influences, without any visible form of hierarchy, his work consists of an open combination system and is continuously evolving, based on the assertion of form, the jubilation of creation and the power of connection.

Whether we consider a single work (such as Achour's mobiles) or the entirety of the artist's oeuvre, notions of fragmentation, unity, and therefore relations, seem to be formally, conceptually and humanly at the heart of his practice.
